Some events you attend. Others stay with you long after the evening ends.
Empowered Girls Inc.’s 4th Annual AIM Gala, themed “Unleashing Our Royalty Through Inner Self-Worth,” was one of those moments. As a proud Bronze Sponsor, Aurora InfoTech was honored to support an evening that celebrated not only achievement, but confidence, purpose, and leadership in action.
Hosted in Orlando and attended by more than 200 families, alumni, mentors, and community partners, the gala served as a powerful reminder that leadership is not something reserved for the future. It is already taking shape in the lives of these young women today.
What made the evening especially meaningful was the way each young woman was recognized as a whole person, not just for grades, but for service, resilience, creativity, and character.
From 2025 Empowered Girl of the Year Diamond Gleason to scholarship recipients like Rhianna Christian, who continues her academic journey at the University of Central Florida with a 4.0 GPA, each recognition reflected commitment, discipline, and self-belief.
The awards honored excellence across many areas, including:
Academic achievement
Community service and leadership
Entrepreneurship and innovation
Peer-nominated recognition
These awards were not symbolic. They represented real investment through scholarships, mentorship, and affirmation that helps open doors and build confidence.
At Aurora InfoTech, our work centers on protecting businesses, systems, and data. At the heart of that work is people. Supporting Empowered Girls Inc. reflects our belief that confidence, integrity, and leadership are essential skills that shape strong futures, regardless of career path.
Programs like this do more than prepare girls for success. They help them believe in their own value and voice.
As our Chief Security Officer, Roy Richardson, shared during the event:
“These girls are building skills, self-worth, and strength that will carry them into successful futures, not just in careers, but in their communities.”
That message resonated throughout the room.
The success of the AIM Gala was made possible through strong community partnerships. From Platinum Sponsor Regions Bank to Gold, Bronze, and community supporters, the evening reflected a shared commitment to uplifting the next generation.
We were proud to stand alongside organizations that understand the long-term impact of mentorship, education, and opportunity. When communities invest together, confidence grows, and leadership follows.
Under the leadership of Founder and Executive Director Felicia Lewis, Empowered Girls Inc. continues to create spaces where young women feel seen, supported, and empowered to step fully into their potential.
As Felicia shared that evening, the message was clear. These girls are not waiting to become leaders. They are leading now.
Aurora InfoTech is grateful to support organizations that invest in people with intention and heart. The AIM Gala was more than a celebration. It was a reminder of what becomes possible when self-worth is nurtured, and opportunity is within reach.
